Google Analytics: traffic for your pages
Google Analytics is coming soon while Google verifies the read-only connection. See the traffic signals it will provide.
The Google Analytics connector is read-only measurement. It reads sessions, users, and page views for the pages Framesite builds and enriches, so you can see traffic against the work. It connects through Google with read-only access and never changes anything.
What you need
A Google account with access to a GA4 property. During the connection you pick which GA4 property Framesite reads from. Connecting requires a workspace admin.
Connecting Google Analytics
Open Destinations & connections
In Framesite, open Settings, then Destinations & connections, and find Google Analytics. Connecting is limited to workspace admins.
Continue to Google Analytics
Choose Continue to Google Analytics on the connector card. Framesite then opens Google's own consent screen.
In Framesite- Settings
- Destinations & connections
- Google Analytics

Open Settings, then Destinations & connections to connect the GA4 property Framesite should read. Approve and pick the GA4 property
Google lists the read-only access Framesite requests. Framesite never sees your Google password. Approve it, choose the GA4 property you want Framesite to read, and return connected. The token is stored encrypted in our vault.
What it does
Framesite reads sessions, users, and page views for the pages it builds and enriches, so you can see traffic against the work. The connection is read-only; it never changes anything in Analytics.
Troubleshooting
- The connect button says denied. Connecting is limited to workspace admins. Ask a workspace admin to connect, or to make you an admin.
- The numbers look wrong. You may have picked the wrong GA4 property. Reconnect and choose the correct property.
- The connection shows needs attention. The Google grant was revoked. Reconnect from Destinations & connections to reauthorize.
Removing the connection
Open the Google Analytics connection and click Disconnect. This revokes the grant at Google and deletes the stored token from our systems immediately, ending all further access in one step. Reconnecting later starts a fresh authorization from the beginning.
